On Beer for Breakfast ABV Danielle and Paul welcomed Brandon Hernandez from Beer to the Rescue. Beer to the Rescue is a charity campaign built around craft beers brewed to raise funds to support Lupus research and awareness via the Lupus Foundation of Southern California.

Brandon suffers from Lupus and wanted to help bring more awareness to this debilitating disease. Breweries across San Diego County are getting involved to help out Brandon, and Beer to the Rescue.

The beers we sampled include:

Societe – The Shrew feral session ale                                                  4% ABV

Division 23 – Haze to the Rescue double dry hopped hazy IPA   6.5% ABV

32 North – Hearts and Thoughts Belgian strong ale                        8.5% ABV

There are events going on the entire month of May throughout San Diego county so get out there, drink some good local craft beer, and help out a great cause in the process!

Cheers!

As always thanks to our director/cinematographer Rick Romero and producer/audio engineer Abel Garcia.
