It’s all about charity on this edition of Beer for Breakfast!
Paul and I welcomed Greg, sales director of Mike Hess Brewing, and Erick director of food and beverage at Loews Coronado Bay Resort, to talk about the 3rd Annual Play on the Bay charity event. Play on the Bay is an event that benefits DonorsChoose.org, a non-profit assisting public school teachers with supplies and equipment for their classroom. Over the past two years Play on the Bay has raised $115,000 to assist with greater San Diego classroom projects.
Mike Hess Brewing made two beers especially for this event:
Lemon Berliner Weisse 3.5% ABV
Play on the Bay IPA 4.6% ABV
Both beers were incredibly crisp and refreshing. Perfect for a summer night in Coronado.
Play on the Bay is happening at Loews Coronado Bay Resort (4000 Coronado Bay Road, Coronado, CA 92118) on Friday, September 7 from 6PM-9PM.
