Happy Pride, San Diego!
This week on Beer for Breakfast ABV Paul and I wanted to celebrate Pride! So we packed up and made our way to Hillcrest Brewing Company. Hillcrest Brewing Company (HBC) is located on University Ave and Normal St., right next to the Pride flagpole.
This year Hillcrest Brewing Company collaborated with Ballast Point for a refreshing cucumber lager. You can find this beer at Hillcrest Brewing Company and their sister-restaurants (Baja Betty’s, Mo’s, insideOut) as well as Ballast Point locations and distributed up and down the California coast.
Here’s what we tried:
HBC/Ballast Point collaboration Cucumber Lager 4.9% ABV
Banana Hammock Scotch Ale 9% ABV
Just the Hop IPA 7.2% ABV
