Digital Sales & Content Coordinator

Job Description:

  • Responsible for strategy, creation, execution, monitoring, optimization and reporting for all digital campaigns.
  • Oversee inventory management for display ads, mobile display, mobile apps, rich media, newsletters, lead generation, pre-roll, page sponsorships, streaming, texting and new content.
  • Support Account Executives with presentations on how to position digital, convert CPP & GRP to CPM. Put together the digital line-items in proposals. Create break-outs of costs line-itemed for each digital asset and make sure entered properly into Marketron.
  • Attend client meetings with Account Executives as our “Digital Expert”.
  • Work with Director of Event Marketing & Digital Sales and Director of Digital to build out programmatic advertising sales platform, first and third party data offerings, geo-targeting capabilities, database development, and new digital content.
  • Act as liaison with Programing & Promotions to execute monetization and promotion of new digital content.
  • Fulfillment of all Digital Sales campaigns including creation of ad units, trafficking assets, entering data into Triton’s TAP system, running delivery reports, and optimizing campaigns as needed.
  • Manage AE pending for all non-spot and events in the system. Create all reports for management on pending budgets for both Digital Sales and Events.
  • Attend Sales Meeting, NTR/Non-Spot Digital Sales Manager Meeting, and Web Production Meeting. Enter all action items into PromoSuite and Triton TAP system.
  • Become an expert on the current digital space and our competition in radio and other mediums.
  • Be a major contributor to the Event Marketing & Digital Sales team. Come to work every day with a fabulous attitude and the willingness to jump in to assist on any project as needed.

Digital Media Strategist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Director of Event Marketing & Digital Sales and the Director of Digital to create the Digital Sales Strategy for 3 radio stations and 40+ signature festivals, concerts and events
  • Help drive innovation by supporting 9 Account Executives generate creative ideas for digital client proposals and presentations.
  • Must be able to see the big picture of how to combine radio, digital and events to help businesses find customers/grow their revenue
  • Oversee digital inventory for all LMSD assets
  • Manage the set-up, implementation, and delivery for Digital Audio Streaming, Display Advertising, Email Marketing & Paid Social Campaigns
  • Optimize campaigns to meet client goals with maximum results
  • Create reports, delivery analysis and recaps for all digital campaigns
  • Respond to day-to-day client requests and questions
  • Ensure positive and long lasting relationships with both clients and internal teams

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of digital agency or ad operations experience
  • Must have a passion for digital media and a deep understanding of the digital media landscape and campaign best practices
  • Strong Excel skills required. Experience in Google Analytics, DFP, Social Media Ad Placement & Targeting, Wordpress, 3rd Party Targeting, Programmatic, and Media Ad Operations a plus.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills needed with a demonstrated ability to manage deadlines while multi-tasking.
  • Ideal candidates are detail oriented, creative, and able to interact with both sales and content creators, while meeting the demands of clients.

Staff Accountant

Local Media San Diego, LLC is currently in search of a Staff Accountant. Candidate will receive and process all invoices for payment, including expense reimbursements, Prepare daily deposits, reconcile and process all company credit cards on a monthly basis, prepare and post various journal entries for month end close, including all prepaid expenses, maintain Use Tax log for annual tax filing, including posting of monthly accruals, record fixed assets in Asset Keeper software system, maintain company contract schedule, vendors in Cyma Accounting Software as well as Capital Assets listing. Will also be responsible to process & prepare annual 1099 filing and assist with documentation from accounting records in support of company information annual audit.

Duties also will include assisting Controller with various Human Resource responsibilities paperwork including new hires and terminations. Maintaining files and assisting with managing day to day accounting responsibilities including general ledger entries, trade inventory and all company vehicles. Candidate must be extremely organized and professional, work well with others at all levels, develop and maintain positive working relationships, must have excellent oral and written communication and adapts to a fast pace environment.

AA Degree preferred. Candidate must have knowledge of Account Payable, General Ledger, Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point Programs.

Summary of essential job functions
The successful candidates duties will include but are not limited to: Working with salespeople, clients and local or national agencies to obtain and enter commercial copy into the Marketron and Next Gen systems. Communicate daily with production to ensure the correct traffic is running at all times for each advertiser. Candidate will also work closely with the traffic director to make revisions to the commercial logs as needed and will assist salespeople with reports and discrepancies as needed.

Minimum requirements
The position requires strict attention to details and accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines.​ Marketron experience a plus. Candidate must have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.​ In addition, the right candidate must have:

Social Media Internship Program

Local Media San Diego is a local, independent radio group in San Diego that includes radio stations 91X, Magic 92.5 and Z90. Socially, our main goal is to build a community of people that are engaged in the station brands, creating more on-air listenership, increased attendance at station events and shows, and increased digital traffic (database, unique visitors and frequency).

We are looking for fun, enthusiastic interns to work with our Social Media/Content Team! Interns will assist with creating and curating content for our Websites and social media channels: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat.

Bus Driver

Local Media San Diego, LLC has an immediate opening for a bus driver to drive/operate our 45 foot Freight Passenger Bus. Driver will be responsible for driving the bus to locations throughout San Diego for fifteen (15) to twenty-five (25) hours per week. On-Air Board Operator

The qualified candidates will:
• Operate broadcast console
• Read and follow format log and play the correct spots and station ID’s at the appropriate times.
• Operate faders, monitor audio levels, and segue music – ensure the music is tight.
• Board ops will need to show up 30 minutes prior to live broadcast to check in and make sure studio is set up for broadcast.
• Communicate effectively with program directors. Other duties may be assigned.
• May help administer contests, answer listener phone calls, screen listener calls for live shows.
• Board operators may also be responsible for monitoring additional radio stations simultaneously.

Front-End Web Developer

We are San Diego based radio broadcasting company and a member of SDLocal, a joint operating agreement between Local Media San Diego, LLC and Midwest Television, Inc. DUTIES
-Setting up Wordpress environment for 3 radio station Websites.
-Convert PSDs to pixel perfect HTML and implement them in a Wordpress design.

-Deliver very clean, high quality code
-Collaborate with entire team on new ideas and implementations

REQUIREMENTS
– 2+ years experience and strong expertise developing in PHP/WordPress development.- Strong experience with HTML and CSS(3)- Expertise in developing responsive websites
