2015 will no longer be remembered as the year of the sheep. In fact we’re officially changing it to The Year of the Foo.
Next summer, The Foo Fighters will embark on their “most massive North American on-the-road undertaking in FF history,” stopping at more than 30 venues. And for those of us in the Southwest United States, we were kind of itching our skulls at the missing tour date between September 21st in Los Angeles and the 25th in Phoenix.
We could only speculate that more dates would be added… and at the very least, a lone San Diego stop wouldn’t be that out of place. Behold, the missing date has been filled in below to complete the Foo Fighters Southwest leg of their North American tour in 2015.

The Foo Fighter’s Sonic Highways Tour is accompanied by an HBO special by the same name. HBO describes the series…
“In this new series, Foo Fighters commemorate their 20th anniversary by documenting the eight-city recording odyssey that produced their latest, and eighth, studio album.
Foo Fighters founder Dave Grohl directs the series, which taps into the musical heritage and cultural fabric of eight cities: Chicago, Austin, Nashville, Los Angeles, Seattle, New Orleans, Washington D.C. and New York. The band based themselves at a legendary recording studio integral to the unique history and character of each location.”
