Feeling inspired after their semi-acoustic sets at the 2016 Bridge School Benefit concert, Cage The Elephant decided to launch a small, intimate acoustic tour. They kicked it off here in SD at the Escondido Center For the Performing Arts, and it was incredible! Thankfully, the guys decided to take it one step further and release an acoustic album — Unpeeled comes out July 28th. It’ll have 21 (!!) tracks on it (mostly originals with a handful of covers, including a Daft Punk cover!) and the first song we’ve gotten from it is this one, a cover of Wreckless Eric’s “Whole Wide World.” Filmed at their hometown venue (Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium), the video is below. Dig it!
