Very well, where do I begin?  I’m a SoCal native from the ‘burbs with family scattered all over the country.  I’d have to say that growing up; Snoop Dogg and Bone Thugs were just as much of an influence on me as Nirvana and Alice In Chains.  Some of my interests outside of the radio industry include the LA Lakers, politics, local music and white tennis shoes…

SLASH WORKING WITH SIMON COWELL’S GROUP

Slash ran into Simon Cowell at a party recently and now the two have set up a collaboration. Simon manages a group called Escala, which was made famous on the U-K show Britain’s Got Talent. Now, according to England’s The Sun, Slash and Escala are getting in the studio to do a cover of Led Zeppelin’s “Kashmir.”

NO MORE NIRVANA MUSIC

Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic has revealed that there are no more unreleased songs from the band. According to Rolling Stone, Novoselic does say there is a lot of video footage of the groundbreaking group. No word as to when, how or if the footage will be released but the bassist does say he is no longer on bad terms with Kurt Cobain’s widow, Courtney Love. Novoselic was speaking at Washington State’s Legacy Project about his life when he candidly revealed that he wished he’d done more for Cobain saying, “There’s anger.
