As the euphoria of Coachella Weekend 1 is wearing off, music fans are looking for their next fix. Luckily for us, many artists spend their “down time” playing smaller shows in our fair city. Unlike watching bands from the back of a crowd of thousands, these San Diego shows give us a chance to see our favorite festival artists up-close and personal.
Here’s just some of the shows playing in town this week. (We’ve included links to tickets if they were still available at press time.)
- George Ezra @ Belly Up Tavern
This show is sold out. So come eat tacos with George at Rubio’s in Solana Beach at 2:30pm today!
- Drive Like Jehu @ The Casbah
- Father John Misty @ Observatory North Park
- Built to Spill @ The Irenic
- The Cribs @ The Casbah
- Belle & Sebastian @ Observatory North Park
Last night, we were able to catch St. Lucia playing to a packed house at the Observatory North Park. Check out our video of “Elevate” below.
