Along with having Paul Segura from Karl Strauss Brewing in tow, having a great local business like Keg N Bottle come on board as the sponsor of Beer for Breakfast ahead of the feature’s “re-boot” in April was absolutely huge, and a big shot in the arm for re-launching the segment.
So to show our appreciation, we invited Keg N Bottle to close out Beer for Breakfast for 2016 — including Tony Konja, the co-owner of Keg N Bottle, and Keg N Bottle’s head brewer and draftmaster Kyle Tweet.
And what do you know, it turns out the beer elves have been busy at Keg N Bottle’s Del Cerro location at 6380 Del Cerro Blvd. over the last year, and they’ve been crafting some brand new in-house beers, including:
Belgian Wit Nelson
A Belgian wit-style beer, featuring abundant Nelson hops.
Belgian Citrus Herb
A tasty, “crushable” six percent ABV Abby Pale Ale.
Doctor Nelson IPA
Made with 100 percent Nelson hops — no orange added!
And don’t forget, not only is Keg N Bottle offering brunch every morning this week at the Del Cerro location, they’re also extending their $4 offer on in-house and select beers all day today (Thursday the 29th) when you mention you heard it on Beer for Breakfast. So get over there already!
Thanks to Kaitlin Lester for the photos.
As always, special thanks to Paul Segura from Karl Strauss Brewing.
