It’s hard to believe, but Kilowatt Brewing has been marching to the beat of its own drum for 11 years. This week, the crew takes time out to recognize that Kearny Mesa-based operation while enjoying a pair of its beers. That duo includes K-Pop, a Korean-style rice lager brewed to recognize the wealth of outstanding Korean edible fare available on Kearny Mesa’s main drag, Convoy Street, as well as San Diego Dream, an extra pale ale brewed with the former booker for recently shuttered music venue Brick By Brick. Get their thoughts on those liquid creations plus info on Kilowatt’s 11th anniversary blowout, which will take place on Saturday, September 12.
