Capital of Craft Beer Festival (Part 1) | Friday, October 24: San Diego Beer Week will take place from November 7 to 16, but its official kickoff event, the Capital of Craft Beer Festival, will take place on Saturday, November 8. Now in its second year, the fest has moved to a larger location in Bay Ho, providing plenty of room for the 40-plus breweries, live entertainment, and food, art and vendor booths. It’s never too early to start prepping for such epic festivities, so Marty and Brandon get to it, sampling a pair of beers that will be on tap at the event: a Korean-style lager called K-Pop from Kilowatt Brewing and an award-winning hazy IPA from Hodad’s Brewing.
