There’s a new brewery in town and it’s in the same place that previously housed not one, but two beer companies. This rookie op goes by the name Koobrew, and is the vision of owner and brewmaster Koo Miyake, who’s not only crafting beers, but also exotic alcoholic beverages that go beyond ales and lagers. Listen in as the BFB crew samples an English Brown Ale (quite the rarity in San Diego County), followed by an eyebrow-raising taste of a hard sparkling tea infused with yuzu and ashwagandha called Magical Yuzu. Both serve as brilliant sneak peeks of what this Koobrew is bringing to the local bev scene.
