Join us for the 20th anniversary Switchfoot Bro-Am Beach Fest this summer, where 15,000+ music and community lovers converge for a day of epic surf, vibrant food, beach fun, and live music by Switchfoot and special guests! This isn’t just about good vibes and killer tunes – it’s about making a difference.

Beach Fest is a FREE event so come one, come all! Our all ages, family-friendly event shines a spotlight on incredible San Diego organizations and celebrates the lives of local youth transformed by community support.

No matter which event you choose, you’ll be celebrating 20 years of Bro-Am and making a difference in the lives of local kids. Let’s show the next generation how much they matter!

 

Event Schedule:
7:00am – 3:00pm — Surf events (Bro-Junior, Surf Teams, CAF Youth Adaptive Surfer Program, Surf Jousting)
12:00pm – 5:00pm — Live music performances including Switchfoot. Band lineup announcing soon!

Getting to Beach Fest:
Plan ahead and take advantage of some alternative ways of getting to Bro-Am

  • Take the Coaster – park at the Encinitas Coaster/NCTD station (25 East D St., Encinitas, CA 92024)
  • Ride the Free Shuttle – park at Seacoast Community Church (1050 Regal Rd, Encinitas, CA 92024) and get dropped off/picked up right at Moonlight Beach (3rd St and C St intersection). Complimentary shuttles run from 10am-6pm.
  • Bike/Walk to Moonlight – save time and fuel by riding your bike or e-bike to Bro-Am

The Switchfoot Bro-Am Foundation is dedicated to giving back to the San Diego community by heightening the profile of and providing grants to nonprofit organizations that provide services to at-risk and disadvantaged youth, with a special focus on programs related to music, art and surfing.

Bro-Am supports organizations that provide:
Physical and Community Well-being – through food, shelter, health, belonging, connecting.
Opportunity and Empowerment – through music, art, surfing and education.
