A few months back, Ramona’s lone craft-beer operation, Smoking Cannon Brewery, was purchased by a married couple with roots in the community extending to its live-music scene. That’s perfect since the original owners were also a couple that was as passionate about live music as their beer, meaning this eight-year-old small business will remain pretty much the same. In this segment, the BFB crew tastes what Smoking Cannon has on tap, starting with a dry Irish-style stout called Bellona, followed by an IPA going by the name Parrot. It’s an authentic taste of small-town northeast San Diego County.
