Another first timer on Beer for Breakfast. This time the team dives into Craft Coast Brewery out of Oceanside!

Craft Coast Brewery & Taco Stand is on Mission Ave just a few blocks away from the pier. Not only is the beer top notch, but the food is what every San Diegan desires. It’s the perfect marriage of San Diego favorites: Craft Beer & Tacos.

A solid Mexican Lager is a MUST to pair with tacos and head brewer Blake Masoner did just that with Agua Baja Mexican Lager.

Agua Baja comes in at 4.5% ABV and is brewed with 100% German Malts, hops, and yeast with the addition of flaked corn. It is designed to be extremely light and crisp, appealing to all beer drinkers, and enjoyed with or without a lime.

Before opening Craft Coast, Blake was a lead cellarman at Pizza Port Bressi Ranch so Blake knows a thing or two about IPAs and that’s were Ganja Smugglin’ DIPA comes in. This 8% ABV Double IPA is a rad experiment, attempting to push the envelope of extreme flavor and dankness. It has a soft mouthfeel that lays the perfect platform for the Idaho 7 and Strata Hops, and an addition of Northern Lights Terpenes resulting in an explosion of Mango, Apricot, and subtle weedy flavors and aromas. There’s no THC or CBD in this beer but it sure tastes like it does!
