How It Works

What is Super Squares?

91X’s Super Squares is a fun and easy way to win prizes during The Big Game. It doesn’t require skill to play. In fact, our Super Squares game is 100% luck.

Step 1 - Getting Your Square

Owning a square is simple, even for first-timers. Just tune in to 91X and listen for the right time to call. If we answer your call, we’ll ask you to choose a Super Square that’s not X’d out. Congratulations, you’re the proud owner of that square!

You can also sign up online or attend our Viewing Party on the day of the playoff game for a chance to become a square owner.

NEXT: Step 2 – Drawing the Numbers

Step 2 - Drawing Numbers for Rows and Columns

The “?’s” in The Grid will be replaced with a randomly selected number shortly before the game begins.

You’ll notice The Grid has a row for a National Football Conference (NFC) team and a column for an American Football Conference (AFC) team.

The numbers correspond to the last digit in each team’s score.

NEXT: STEP 3 – Winning Squares

Step 3 - Winning Squares

If you’re the owner of a square (covered in step 1) and the “?’s” on The Grid have been replaced by a number  (covered in step 2), then get your game face on. It’s time to get lucky!

The winning squares are determined by using the last digit of both team’s score at the end of each quarter. Locate your square and see what numbers line up to the top and left.

NEXT: Here’s an Example

Here's an Example

Confused? Here’s a breakdown.

Let’s say you are the owner of a square (see step 1) and 91X has already selected numbers for the AFC rows and NFC columns right before the playoff game (see step 2).

Now, let’s pretend the score at the end of the first quarter is AFC 20 to NFC 24:

You would find the number 0 in the left hand column and the number 4 in the top row. Follow those numbers to see which square they intersect, the person who owns that square would be the winner of the first quarter.

There’s a chance to win at the end of each quarter. Good Luck!
