It is officially San Diego Beer Week, which means breweries throughout the county will be putting on special events based around their best, most creative beers. That includes AleSmith Brewing, which is holding the millionth-zillionth iteration of their popular Speedway Grand Prix. That three-day affair will see the Miramar operation offer up a dozen inventively flavorful takes on their iconic coffee-infused Speedway Stout, as well as a four-pack of cans for event attendees to take home. That ice-cream-inspired quartet includes the two beers the BFB crew tastes in this episode, Speedway Stout: Cookies & Cream Edition and Speedway Stout: Turtle Sundae Edition. Listen in for all the details on this year’s Grand Prix, which will take place November 12-14 at AleSmith’s tasting room.
