Boochcraft Hard Kombucha is this weeks featured Booch-ery (Come on, I’m trying!) for Beer for Breakfast. Boochcraft was founded by 3 friends in Ocean Beach who wanted to create high quality hard kombucha that tastes great too.
Co-founder Adam and regional sales director Natalie laid down some knowledge and gave us a great tasting of what Boochcraft has to offer.
What is kombucha?
Kombucha is a fermented tea made with a Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast (SCOBY). It is typically fermented with cane sugar in a fermentation process that takes about 2 weeks. The finished product is tangy, slightly carbonated, and filled with beneficial bacteria and probiotics which is said to help with digestion and immune function. Most kombucha only has small traces of alcohol. – Boochcraft
Boochcraft Hard Kombucha is gluten free, is locally sourced, organic and non-gmo.
