To kick of 2023 Marty, Danielle, and Brewmaster Paul Segura enjoy a couple beers from Burgeon Beer Co. to celebrate their 6th anniversary. Burgeon Beer Co. will once again throw their invitational beer festival on January 14th at the brewery and taproom in Carlsbad. Hopefully you snagged a ticket because it is SOLD OUT however you can still raise a pint to Burgeon Beer Co. at one of their tasting rooms: The Arbor in Little Italy and The Oasis in Escondido.
The 91X Beer for Breakfast crew kicks things off with Tomorrow’s Forests New Zealand IPA. Tomorrow’s Forests comes in at 6.3% ABV and utilizes Riwaka, Motueka, NZ Cascade, and Citra hops. It’s not quite West Coast IPA, it’s not quite Hazy IPA but a perfect marriage of the two styles.
Next up: Elevated Ascent West Coast IPA. This 6.6% ABV WCIPA has a well-balanced body with restrained bitterness and a crushable, refreshing finish.
