Jessie (event manager), Mike (head brewer – Carlsbad), and Jill (sales) from Pizza Port made their way to 91X to talk about Strong Ale Fest!
This is the 22nd Annual Strong Ale Fest which will be held in Carlsbad Village on Friday, November 30 & Saturday, December 1. Strong Ale Fest is a real treat if you’ve never been. There will be over 60 high octane (8%+) beers plus rare beers! There will also be variety six-packs for sale at the event. They will include three cans each of both a Triple IPA and an Imperial Milk Stout. Previous years’ Strong Ale Fest Festival bottles will be available for purchase as well. Cortez Dank IIPA – collab with Grains of Wrath 8.5% ABV
Raceway IPA – Wet Hop Citra 7% ABV
Matsube Japanese Lager 4.8% ABV
2017 Strong Ale Blend 13.5 % ABV
Blended imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels
