Beach Grease Beer Co. is a brand spankin’ new brewery in North County San Diego. James (founder), Jason (sales director), and Dave (sales/marketing) made the trip down from Vista where their brewry/tasting room are to share some of their tasty beers with us.

Beach Grease is all about making poundable beers. (YES! Another word to add to our arsenal of -able words.) Beach Grease has a really cool, SoCal vibe and pays homage to California’s tradition and culture. The tasting room features hand-selected art, photography, surfboards, skateboards and a collection of classic custom cars and motorcycles, including a 1964 Lincoln Continental with suicide doors. So rad!

They had their grand opening last weekend (July 28) but have been brewing since 2017. You can find Beach Grease beer at over 100 restaurants and bars in San Diego County if you can’t make it up to North County, but I HIGHLY suggest you make the trip.

Here’s what we drank:

Surf Reaper Golden IPA                  6.9% ABV

Surf Mummy Hoppy Pale Ale         5.3% ABV
