Thorn Brewing is no stranger to 91X or Beer for Breakfast. Really, Thorn is no stranger to San Diego Craft Beer!
Thorn Brewing opened in 2012 in North Park making them the ultimate neighborhood pub. It’s literally in the middle of the neighborhood on Thorn St between 32nd St. and Herman Ave. In November 2017 a second facility was opened in Barrio Logan that is used as the main production facility with an attached tasting room. Some thing to look forward to is a third tasting room to open this summer in Mission Hills! And the tasting room is going to have skeeball lanes. SKEEBALL LANES! Jay Jones (Tall Guy) and Doug Pominville (Head Brewer) made their way to the 91X studios this week for Beer for Breakfast and brought lots of goodies including the latest collaboration with Mikkeller Brewing Plunder From Down Under Hazy IIPA. This beer is being released today (Friday, March 15) in the Barrio Logan location, and will be available at the North Park location tomorrow.
Keep an eye out for Thorn Brewing cans around town in your better bottle shops and of course in the tasting rooms.
