It’s hard to believe, but North County-based Belching Beaver Brewery has been pumping out quality beers for 14 years! That’s a long span and plenty of time to forge some great traditions. One of those traditions, the annual Vista Firefighters Association Charity Brew-Off will be taking place this Sunday, June 28 at the company’s original Pub 980 location in Vista. Ahead of that homebrew competition, the crew tastes through a pair of The Beav’s offerings: a West Coast Pilsner called Hoppy Trails and a fruited wheat ale dubbed Death By Blueberry.
