22 years! 22 years! That’s how many years Stone Brewing Company has been gifting our palate with delicious beer.
We made the trip up to Stone Brewing Co. World Bistro and Gardens in Escondido to hang with co-founder and CEO of Stone Brewing Co., Greg Koch.
This was my first time meeting Greg and he’s a wealth of knowledge. He’s very well spoken and easy to have a conversation with. It was the first time I had met him and I felt like I was having beers with a good friend.
Side note: I beer nerded OUT about the fact I was drinking beers at the same table as Greg Koch from Stone and Paul Segura from Karl Strauss.
Stone has an anniversary beer every year and this years’ concept was awesome. The Stone 22nd Anniversary Anni-Matter Double IPA recipe was developed by 2 brewers at Stone, Jose Flores and Jason Smith, and is a great way to show how much talent and passion the Team Stone brewers have.
Stone’s 22nd Anniversary Celebration and Invitational Beer Festival is tomorrow (August 18) at Cal State San Marcos and ALL proceeds go to charity. It’s a super fun day and 91X will be broadcasting live so if you’re there stop by and say hi!

Corey Magers & Elizabeth Bakas / Burgeon Beer Company / Stone Mojay IPA 7.6% ABV
22nd Anniversary Anni-Matter Double IPA 9.1% ABV
